Conflict of Interest Declaration Policy

Authors must provide a statement indicating that there are no conflicts of interest in their study that could influence the results presented in their manuscript, as well as their discussion and the conclusions reached.

A conflict of interest may be associated with the funding received for the development of the study and that could condition the publication and interpretation of the results obtained, whether positive or negative. A conflict of interest may also arise when the author or co-authors have an affiliation, employment relationship, personal relationship, or an adverse or hostile sentiment toward companies, institutions, or groups that could be directly affected or benefited by the results being published. The decision to accept or reject an article will not be influenced by the authors’ declaration of potential conflicts of interest.

For its part, Educiencia is committed to avoiding conflicts of interest during the evaluation of articles by requesting that editors and external reviewers participating in the manuscript evaluation process declare whether they consider that a conflict of interest exists in their evaluation process, due to antagonism with the research area of the manuscript they are reviewing (the evaluation follows a double-blind review method).
