About the Journal
Focus
Educiencia is a disciplinary publication with a biannual frequency (January-June, July-December). Its objective is to disseminate basic and applied scientific knowledge on topics in the following fields:
- Education, and
- Technology
The journal Educiencia publishes original scientific articles, essays, and reviews by authors affiliated with educational institutions or national and international research centers, in Spanish, in an open-access electronic format.
The journal is edited and funded by the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, through the Research and Graduate Studies Office. It is indexed in Google Scholar, Latindex, Ciencia Abierta UAT, Dialnet, Dimensions. With exclusive rights reservation, N°04-2023-070512053000-203, ISSN: 2683-1791, both granted by the National Institute of Copyright.
Educiencia does not allow plagiarism. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will be checked using the Ithenticate tool https://www.ithenticate.com, which is a professional plagiarism or similarity detection tool. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not exceed 20% similarity; if they exceed the indicated percentage, they will not be considered for possible publication.
Scope
To be a space for the dissemination of scientific knowledge on educational and technological processes across all areas of knowledge, encompassing different social, economic, political, and cultural contexts. It is aimed at researchers and academic staff who wish to share research findings relevant to the educational and technological fields. It seeks to establish itself as an instrument to motivate and train undergraduate and graduate students in the development of research skills and the publication of scientific reports.
